I dont know about you, but I constantly find myself on facebook when I really should be doing homework or studying. And with 4 AP classes this really isnt a good habit of mine. I find this pretty common occurance with seniors, and high schoolers in general! We spend our time memorizing our new feeds, commenting on pictures, facebook chatting with our friends, and pretty much doing anything that puts off that homework assignment for a little bit longer.
And it's not just facebook; now us seniors have access to twitter, tumblr, and blogging :) So that begs the question...If teachers know we have too many distractions to actually do our work, why do they even assign it? For example, I have an AP midterm tomorrow but am I studying for it? Of course not! I'm blogging instead (sorry, mom!). And with second semester coming up I'm noticing seniors becoming even less motivated to do school work and more motivated to distract themselves with the social networks.
Countdown to graduation: 165 days!
